Casablanca Anti-Pollution Study |

The goal of the study was to abate the pollution
experienced by the city of Casablanca caused by the
direct discharge of industrial and waste water onto
the beaches without any treatment, through 15 major
outfalls. Study involved a survey of the existing
system and the selection of the most suitable
solution which resulted in collecting the outfalls
at 3 major locations and treating the effluents for
reuse. Handled the design of 5 pumping stations for
the priority works comprising the West and
Muhammadia sectors. Stations consisted of lift
and pumping stations with capacities up to 13m³/s
at 85 meters head. The design involved cost
analysis comparison between dry well pumps and
submesible pumps systems. |

5 buildings sharing the same basement and parking
floors. The landscape area was around 1900 m2 plus
215 m2 area for a Café function. Handled the design

A development project in Mecca with a land site area
of 250,000 sq. m. with a master plan and a
percolation for residential and commercial
applications for a population of around 90,000
people. Handled the design of the MEP
infrastructure networks for the whole site including
water supply network, sewerage networks, surface
drainage and rain water networks, irrigation
networks, medium voltage and low voltage power
supply networks, telephone and communication
networks, street lighting and tunnel lighting and
services. |

Master Plan of Slaughterhouses for sacrifice
purposes during Hajj in Mina and Holy Makkah, Saudi

Final study of a Master Plan of various types of
slaughterhouses to cater for 1 500 000 sheep and 35
000 camels or cows over a period of 84 hours. Study
included all required and necessary facilities such
as water distribution, sewage collection, main power
and telephone needs as well as refrigeration
requirements, blood and solid waste treatment,
incineration and labor required for the whole
operation. Total built-up area reached 1 200 000
m2. Handled the design of the mechanical systems and
tender documents. |
